Our Team

  • Founder and CEO

    Alex Rozek founded Mac Mountain because he wanted mobile broadband service where he lives in Vermont, and one thing led to another and here we are today.

    He also serves as the Managing Member of Boulderado Partners, LLC, a private investment partnership founded in July 2007. Alex also serves on the Board of Directors of Sky Harbour Group (NASDAQ:SKYH).

    Formerly, Alex was the Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Boston Omaha Corporation (NYSE:BOC), a public holding company with businesses in advertising, insurance, broadband and a number of other investments.

    Outside of business, Alex spends time working for the Doris Buffett Legacy Foundation, serves on the Brigham and Women’s Neurosciences Advisory Board, works on a number of different community projects in and around his home in Vermont, hikes, bikes and swims with his kids and Aussies, and occasionally likes piloting planes.

    Alex graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

    With almost thirty years of expertise in guiding technology and telecom enterprises towards success, Scott Sampson is a highly respected visionary within the industry. In his current role focused on Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions, Scott leverages his deep industry knowledge to identify strategic opportunities, forge valuable partnerships, and accelerate company expansion.

    Former CEO of Fiber Fast Homes, a prominent fiber to the home Internet service provider, specializing in new home and build-to-rent communities, Scott has consistently demonstrated his exceptional leadership skills. His extensive expertise in designing and implementing global networks has helped numerous ISPs and enterprises achieve their strategic goals. Scott continues to apply his visionary leadership and operational insight to shape the future of connectivity and business growth.

  • Chief Financial Officer

    Neil Katz is a seasoned financial professional with a diverse background in transaction services, impact investing, and executive leadership. He began his career in the transaction services groups at Deloitte and PwC, where he honed his expertise in financial due diligence and mergers & acquisitions.

    Following his time in public accounting, Neil spent a decade at a national impact investment platform, where he rose to the position of Managing Director. In this role, he was a key member of the Investment Committee and led the Portfolio Management Committee. Notably, Neil launched the platform’s innovative broadband investment initiative, a public-private partnership model that focused on constructing and leasing fiber networks to internet service providers. This initiative was supported by both state and foundation partners and aimed at expanding broadband access to underserved communities.

    In addition to his impact investment work, Neil has accumulated several years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer, primarily within the manufacturing industry. His multifaceted career reflects a commitment to leveraging financial expertise to drive both commercial success and social impact.

  • Chief Administrative Officer

    Tevis brings a demonstrated history of success in leading cross-functional teams and a unique blend of expertise in administrative services and operations in government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. Prior to joining Mac Mountain, Tevis served as the Manager of Administrative Services within the Office of Communications, Education and Outreach at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. He also served as Director of Systems and Growth for both the Letters Foundation and Learning by Giving Foundations based in Boston, MA. In a whole other life he managed global programs for the Engineering Education and University Relations teams at Google. In 2020, he completed a beginning farmer academy that led him to serve on the Sacramento Food Co-op’s nomination committee for three years and volunteer with the Alchemist CDC Farmer’s Market program that is dedicated to making sure these markets are not just accessible, but affordable for low-income shoppers.

  • Chief Technologies Officer

    As Chief Technology Officer at Mac Mountain, Adam leads strategic initiatives that align technology, operations, and teams to drive scalable growth. He joined in 2024 with over 15 years of experience in integration and technology management.

    Previously, Adam spent 13 years at Google as SDE Manager for M&A Technical Integration and Corporate Domains, overseeing $14B in acquisition integrations, security tooling, and systems automation. Earlier in his career, he worked at ITA Software and Cape Air, and even founded Tropical Java, a Caribbean coffee shop that sharpened his entrepreneurial and operational skills.

    Adam’s blend of technical expertise and business experience gives him a unique perspective on integration strategy.

  • Investor Relations Associate

    Elly Army is a seasoned professional in the asset management industry, with a specialization in broadband infrastructure. Over her career, she has developed comprehensive expertise in fundraising, operations, and investor relations. Currently serving as Investor Relations Associate at Mac Mountain LLC, Elly is instrumental in strategic projects that expand broadband and cell infrastructure across New England.

    Her prior experience includes key roles at Boston Omaha Asset Management, where she managed investments across multiple sectors, including commercial real estate and telecommunications. Elly's ability to bridge operational insights with capital strategy positions her as a leader in driving infrastructure investment success. Elly's experience extends to her work at a private family office, where she contributed to the Doris Buffett Legacy Foundation. This unique combination of expertise in philanthropy and asset management further enhances her ability to execute high-impact investment strategies.

Board of Advisors

  • Jeremy Levitan is a serial entrepreneur with decades of experience in operations, strategy, and technology development across diverse industries such as lead generation, advertising, robotics, biomedical devices, behavioral economics, and consumer research. Most recently, he has been building a new consumer insights business.

    Previously, Jeremy launched a digital collectibles startup with celebrity entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk and Gary's brother. He produced and led the business operations of a BeatHeadz with Grammy-nominated musician Aloe Blacc, which donated over $325,000 to music education charities in the United States, including an endowed scholarship at Spelman College and support of Save The Music Foundation and Grammy Camp. He has also led special projects for prominent enterprises, including VaynerX—the holding company behind VaynerMedia—and Twitter, where he headed the Global Advertising Performance Team.

    Before Twitter, Jeremy led the social media agency Click Harmonics, served as Chief Technology Officer for a division of the Washington Post, and managed an incubator for a Cambridge, MA–based venture firm that successfully spun out leading companies in the lead generation and long-tail advertising space.

    At Microsoft, Jeremy helped develop the company’s first MEMS-based display, created next-generation interactive robots for storytelling, and led the development of innovative toy concepts. Additionally, he contributed to conceptual designs for walking animatronic dinosaurs at Walt Disney Imagineering’s Creative Technology R&D.

    He holds nine U.S. patents in micro- and nano-fluidics, hydraulic valving, and MEMS devices. Jeremy earned his Ph.D., S.M., and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, where he was an IBM Fellow at the MIT Media Lab and received the Army Research Assistantship in Nanotechnology at the MIT Institute for Soldier Nanotechnology. He also completed two postdoctoral research positions in Applied Mathematics at MIT.

    Jeremy has served as a Science and Technology Advisor on several film and television projects, including Threshold (CBS Television), Batman Begins (Warner Bros.), Jumper (New Regency), and Blade: Trinity (New Line), for which he received on-screen credit.

    Jeremy enjoys building LEGO creations, exploring the world of 3D printing, and tinkering with his vintage Mold-A-Rama machine. He is a lifelong theme park enthusiast.
